What Are Common Air Conditioning Problems?

All American Air Service Experts is here with a couple of the most typical air conditioning problems in Daytona Beach.

  • No Cool Air

If you can hear your A/C equipment operating but there isn’t cool air blowing, you could need to have your refrigerant levels evaluated. Refrigerant is what helps make sure the air coming out of your system is actually cool. Call All American Air Service Experts and we’ll come out and examine your refrigerant levels and look into why your AC system is not producing cool air.

  • Fan Won’t Rotate

A reason your condenser fan may not be rotating could be that it just burned out and you require a replacement. Humidity can cause more condensation so another issue to watch for is that the water is not draining properly or that the drain is obstructed. If you can confirm these matters, you may be able to discover the issue; if not, give All American Air Service Experts a call and we can find out what has stopped your condenser fan from rotating and go over your options to get your system working again.

  • Not Cooling Properly

First, try lowering the temperature on your thermostat. It seems simple but sometimes we neglect the obvious. If that doesn’t get your A/C cooling, inspect the air filter. If the air filter is blocked, it could cause huge cooling issues. Another thing that could cause your lack of cooling is that your HVAC system is not sized properly, and unfortunately this is a common issue when homes are constructed. All American Air Service Experts will come out and do an analysis to determine if the size of your unit is causing your troubles.

  • System is Short Cycling

If your system is short cycling, or turning on or off continuously, it could mean one of several things. One is that your condenser or evaporator is dirty and in need of cleaning. Once the unit is cleaned and all obstructions removed, you may be good to go. Remember that humidity also plays a role so if your home cools to the correct temperature, but then the humidity causes your home to warm up again, it could result in on-again, off-again air conditioning because the system is having to work harder to keep your home comfortable.

No matter your issue, whatever air conditioning trouble you run into, All American Air Service Experts is here for you 24 hours a day so we can get your home comfortable quickly.
