HVAC Industry Launches Smart Assistant

March 31, 2017

You have probably heard of the Google Home and the Amazon Echo: Alexa, but have you heard you can now purchase a Havexa? Get ready, the HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) industry is introducing their own smart-assistant to reside in your heating and air conditioning equipment.

Do you and your spouse argue over who is turning the thermostat up and down? The Havexa can help!

“The Havexa was a blessing to our marriage. We would always fight over the temperature in our house,” said Kodi Horn, who tends to be cold. “But ever since we got the Havexa, she tells my husband, Matt, how absurd he is to keep the thermostat cooling at 68 degrees.”

The Havexa also offers a listening ear and some small talk.

“I came home on Monday to an empty house,” said Whitney Antwine, a marketing director for a local Dallas non-profit. “I just asked out of the blue, ‘How was your day?’ and my Havexa responded, ‘Pretty good, but I feel like I’m getting a chill.’ It was nice to have some conversation.”

The Havexa offers advice on several home tasks and personal situations, such as the proper temperature for washing towels, how hot you look for your night out, or if you actually have time to Netflix and Chill on a Saturday. The Havexa can even forecast your mood – just place your hand on your HVAC equipment and it can tell you how you’re feeling. Like a new-age mood ring!
