Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. This marks the second year that Midland Air has participated in this incredible event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the leading nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this great cause and the nationwide event has raised over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s riding club participates every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
